The last few weeks have been full of breakfasts, lunches and dinners out and I’ve tried to capture the best of the bunch for you as well as what I’ve eaten “in house” aside from the recipes shared.
I often am asked what I eat and, let me tell you, I eat A LOT!!! Not only in frequency but in volume which amazes most people. My sweetie pie sister had asked for my weekly foods which I emailed a few times but ran out of time and puff so here is a brief overview of some of the highlights!
Gluten free oatmeal with apples and blueberries!
Fabulous tomato, mushroom and spinach omlette with GF toast from Del Peco
My current lunch obsession ~ McDonald’s Warm Grilled Chicken Salad. Only on this day I deconstructed the salad by removing the chicken and having it with microwave poached apples on a Purebred Hamburger Roll
And then I put the other half of the apple on the salad ~ yummy!
The BEST Salt and Pepper Squid in town at The Junction Hotel which is ALWAYS made gluten free for me if I ask. Chef Guy is the BEST!
with shoestring fries!
Chicken, apple and breadcrumb stuffed Potkin pumpkin with mustard maple coleslaw!
An inordinate amount of cookies and fudge….
And of course my favourite Christmas baking of (choc) Gingerbread!
And this tin of Christmas Cookies is proof number 678 that I’ve become my Mother as I’ve stacked them according to shape in order to maximise the storage space. Even OCD about Christmas Cookies (and packing the dishwasher, and the recycling, and…….)
But, what is YOUR favourite thing to bake at Christmas? Remember I told you we would have some FLASH giveaways? Well, leave me a comment here or on Facebook of what YOUR favourite Christmas Baking is and you could win this adorable Women’s Weekly Baking Day book!
