“Mum, Dad said he is fine with just soup for dinner”, “I’d love to unpack the dishwasher for you!”, “Can we have brussel sprouts?”, “Not ANOTHER Brownie!!!”
Because seriously, who can ever have too many brownies? This is a very easy recipe that got double thumbs up from the testers! Plus, I have a giveaway for you for your own perfect brownies and slices. Good luck!
Gooey Marshmallow Brownies (makes 1 pan of brownies)
1 x box of your favourite gluten free brownie mix (I used Melinda’s)
Ingredients as called for on the box
1 x package gluten free marshmallows
300 grams dark chocolate
100 grams light cream
Preheat your oven to 160 and lightly spray and line the brownie pan.
Mix the brownies with ingredients as per the box instructions.
Bake until almost set.
Remove pan from the oven and sprinkle marshmallows on top. (Note: do not use as many as shown here as it was way too much and some had to be removed).
Return pan to oven for about 3-4 minutes until marshmallows are melted but not burned.
Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack in the pan. When cool enough, place the fridge for about 2 hours.
When you are ready to glaze, place the chocolate in a microwave safe glass bowl and cook in bursts of 20-30 seconds, stirring in between, until melted and glossy. Mix in the cream and pour over the top of the brownies (you many need to microwave it again before you pour to have a thin consistency).
Cool in the fridge until glaze is set. Remove and cut into squares or bars.
Let you family know the brownies are ready and watch the glaze across their eyes as the taste the glaze of these ooey gooey treats!
